Plastiflo’s history

Plastiflo is a proud family business that has been manufacturing water and feeding troughs since 1996.

Originally dairy farmers by trade, we recognized the need for affordable, durable and easily manageable water and feeding troughs.

After manufacturing our first troughs, we had several farmers test them under different conditions. Their feedback was very positive; since then our first troughs still rank among our best sellers.

Our troughs are easy to transport and to install on your farm. By using our troughs, we aim to simplify your life as a farmer and to cater for your every need. We stock the widest range of troughs in Africa and we supply our products to several co-operations nationwide.

Our factory is situated in the Tsitsikamma / Humansdorp district in South Africa. In 1996 the factory was started with 2 employees on our farm, since then we have grown to the business we are today.

All Plastiflo products are manufactured from a very specific polyethylene that is supplied to us and certified by SASOL. Our products come with a UV-stabilizing guarantee of 10 years.
